Hello, everyone. James Katumba securitykat_tumba here with some unsettling updates from my journey at the company. You may recall my previous posts, expressing growing concerns about the company's activities. Well, today I had a sit-down with my manager to discuss some of these questions that have been dkeeping me up at night.

In a veiled conversation filled with corporate jargon and half-explanations, my manager tried to alleviate some of my concerns. I was told that the company is involved in multiple 'high-stakes projects' and that certain aspects are 'above my pay grade.' The implication seemed to be that the company's actions are all above board, just not something that every employee needs to know about.

While the meeting aimed to clarify things, it only added another layer of confusion and suspicion. The doublespeak didn't go unnoticed, but my manager did emphasize that the company has been serving the community for years. I was reminded of my job's importance—providing security in a company that supposedly values it.

After much thought, I've decided to stay put for now. The work still pays the bills, and I don't want to make any hasty decisions that could affect my family. But let's be honest, the cloud of questions isn't going away anytime soon. I can't wrap my head around what's really happening behind those closed doors, and the lack of transparency doesn't sit well with me.

So, here I am—committed but cautious, employed but uneasy. I can only hope that with time, the truth will unfold. Until then, it's back to the grindstone, accompanied by a lingering feeling of unease.
